commanded to write

I will attempt to write what I have seen, to be faithful with what I am being shown. Revelation 1:19 says, "Therefore write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after these things." Recently, I was reminded that I need to write my story down. I've spent years attempting to put my past behind me, thereby ignoring testimony. Today is a new day.

I must admit I have been the least faithful blogger. It's all about exposure, and I have been accustomed to hiding. So, here's to truth. Here's to being "naked and unashamed."

seeking the symbolic

For those of you who don't know me, symbolism feeds me. Or rather, God uses symbolism to sustain me. From white horses to the meaning of Hyundai (since that's what I drive), I look for the details God may be painting in my life. Only yesterday did I realize why I seek the symbolic. I encountered Life through vision, through seeing, through accepting the symbolic. That is how I hear God; this is how I see Him and know His presence. On with seeking . . . I'd like to know what you've seen.
